Casa Egida is a spacious and lovingly restored country
house which dates from 1798 with beautiful original details.
It’s located on the outskirts of the town of Coín
in the so called El Egido area. This is where you will
feel at home immediately. A large terrace surrounds the
inviting swimming pool where you can work on your tan
or just relax on one of the lounge chairs. The big garden
is well maintained with regional plants and fruit trees.
The house has 50 cm thick walls and stays nice and cool
during summer. It is built around a small courtyard with
a small fountain giving it that authentic Spanish feeling.
The inner courtyard has a covered area where you will
find a large dining table seating 12 people, ideal for
those long and leasurely evenings with family and friends.
There is a woodburning stove to give extra warmth when
the weather gets cooler so you can enjoy al fresco dining
during all seasons.
The property is very private, enclosed and gated, but
located close enough to the village that you could even
walk into town (15 minutes). Coín is a small market
town that has all the facilities that you need for a perfect
holiday, a choice of supermarkets, good restaurants and
nice shops. It’s centrally located at about 35 km
from the coast and 38 from the airport and is an ideal
starting point for discovering Andalusia.
